The Redmi Watch 5 boasts a 2.07-inch AMOLED curved display with a resolution of 432×514 pixels and a 60Hz refresh rate, delivering sharp visuals and smooth animations. With a peak brightness of 1,500 nits, the display remains visible even under harsh sunlight. Ultra-thin bezels (just 2mm) and a curved glass panel give it a sleek, modern look. The aluminum alloy case and stainless steel rotating crown contribute to a premium feel while keeping the weight down to just 33.5g (without strap).

 Performance & Software

Running on Xiaomi’s proprietary HyperOS 2, the watch delivers a streamlined user interface. It supports app notifications, music playback control, weather updates, alarm settings, voice assistant (region dependent), and Bluetooth calling via an integrated microphone and speaker. While it does not run Wear OS, it allows for basic third-party apps and offers over 200 watch faces. It includes NFC for payments (region-limited) and optional eSIM support in select variants for on-wrist calling and messages.

 Health & Fitness Tracking

The watch includes a full suite of sensors: optical heart rate, SpO₂ (blood oxygen), sleep tracking (including REM), stress monitoring, female health tracking, accelerometer, gyroscope, and ambient light sensor. With over 150 sports modes, it auto-detects several activities and offers detailed metrics. The standard model includes multi-system GNSS (GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou, QZSS), ensuring accurate route tracking without relying on a smartphone.

 Battery Life

Packed with a 550mAh battery, the Redmi Watch 5 delivers up to 24 days of typical use, 12 days with Always-On Display, and around 10–12 days with frequent calling and GPS usage. Charging is done via a magnetic cable and typically takes around 90 minutes for a full charge.
