The APC Smart-UPS 2200VA LCD 230V is a high-performance line-interactive UPS designed to provide reliable power protection for servers, networking devices, storage systems, and business-critical equipment. With a pure sine wave output, it ensures compatibility with sensitive electronics, including those using active power factor correction (PFC) power supplies.

The UPS has a rated capacity of 2200VA / 1980W, making it suitable for small to medium server rooms, network closets, and data centers. It features Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) that corrects voltage fluctuations without switching to battery power, reducing wear and extending battery life.

A key highlight is its intelligent LCD interface, which provides real-time information on system status, load level, battery condition, input/output voltage, and other metrics. The SMT2200IC variant also includes SmartConnect, a cloud-based remote monitoring system that allows users to view the UPS status and receive notifications without requiring external management cards.

This UPS supports SmartSlot expansion, letting users install optional network management cards for SNMP-based monitoring, environmental sensors, or enhanced control. It includes multiple IEC C13 and C19 outlets, ensuring flexibility for connecting various IT loads.

Energy efficiency is enhanced by the Green Mode, which bypasses unused power components under stable conditions, resulting in up to 97% efficiency. Surge protection and EMI/RFI filtering are integrated to shield equipment from electrical disturbances.

Physically, the unit measures approximately 435mm (H) × 197mm (W) × 544mm (D) and weighs around 50kg, housed in a durable tower-style enclosure. Operating conditions support temperatures between 0–40°C and humidity up to 95% (non-condensing).
