Description

Apple Magic Keyboard type USB-C

A standout feature is the integrated Touch ID sensor, located on the upper right corner key. This enables fast, easy, and highly secure authentication for user logins, unlocking the Mac, and authorizing purchases via Apple Pay. The keyboard uses a refined scissor mechanism beneath each key, which provides increased stability, optimized key travel, and a responsive feel.

The keyboard connects wirelessly using Bluetooth and features a built-in, rechargeable battery. Apple claims the internal battery is “incredibly long-lasting,” powering the keyboard for about a month or more between charges, depending on usage. For recharging, it utilizes a USB-C port on the back edge and includes a woven USB-C Charge Cable in the box. This cable is also used for the initial pairing process with a Mac.

  • The USB-C model is wireless (Bluetooth), rechargeable, and includes a USB-C charge cable.

  • It uses Apple’s scissor-mechanism keys (low profile, stable feel).

  • Works with Mac systems (macOS 15.1 or later) and other Apple devices via Bluetooth.
