The Flip7 FE features a slim and lightweight design, weighing just 187g and measuring 14.9mm thick when folded. It uses an Armor Aluminum frame with a Gorilla Glass Victus 2 back and a durable plastic inner screen. It also carries an IP48 rating for water and dust resistance — uncommon in mid-range foldables. Despite being a “budget” foldable, the hinge quality and overall build feel solid and premium.

Displays

It sports a 6.7-inch main display with Dynamic AMOLED 2X, Full HD+ resolution, 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, and peak brightness of 2,600 nits, ensuring excellent visibility even under direct sunlight. The 3.4-inch cover display is a Super AMOLED panel with a resolution of 720 × 748 pixels and up to 2,600 nits brightness, though limited to 60Hz. While it lacks the full app support of the regular Flip7’s FlexWindow, it handles widgets, notifications, quick replies, and camera previews efficiently.

Performance & Software

The Flip7 FE runs on the Exynos 2400 (4nm) processor paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB UFS 4.0 storage. While not as fast as Snapdragon Gen 3 variants, it delivers smooth performance for everyday use. It ships with Android 16 and One UI 8, offering Samsung’s latest Galaxy AI features such as Generative Edit, Live Translate, and Circle to Search. The phone also benefits from 7 years of software and security updates, matching Samsung’s flagship devices.

Camera System

On the back, the phone features a 50MP main sensor with OIS and a 12MP ultrawide lens, capable of 4K video at 60fps. The 10MP front camera is placed on the inner screen for selfies and video calls. While hardware is similar to previous Flips, AI enhancements help improve image clarity and low-light performance.
