Sound Quality & ANC

The QuietComfort Earbuds II use Bose’s CustomTune technology, which auto-calibrates the audio and ANC based on the shape of your ears. Each time you insert them, they emit a tone that maps your ear canal and adjusts sound in real-time. This feature makes the ANC among the best on the market, rivaling or surpassing offerings from Sony and Apple. They effectively eliminate low hums, airplane engines, and even high-frequency chatter, creating an impressively silent environment.

Sound-wise, the earbuds offer rich, balanced audio with deep but controlled bass, clear mids, and sharp treble. They use 9.3 mm drivers and support SBC and AAC codecs—not aptX or LDAC—but the tuning compensates with clarity and detail across genres. You can fine-tune audio using a 3-band EQ in the Bose Music app.

Battery & Connectivity

Battery life is rated at 6 hours per charge, with an additional 18 hours from the case, totaling 24 hours. A 20-minute charge gives about 2 hours of use. The case charges via USB-C (no wireless charging). Bluetooth 5.3 ensures a stable connection, but multipoint pairing is not supported, a notable drawback for multitaskers.
